Digital projects at the Ocean Museum Germany

 

The Ocean Museum germany is conducting several projects with digital questions and objectives. The projects, which are funded by third parties, investigate issues related to various topics in the museum's core areas of collection, exhibition, and outreach.

The project explored use cases for gesture control and social robotics in the museum and developed an interactive app for navigation and information for the OZEANEUM.

Sea collection online

"Sea collection online" is testing various techniques for digitizing collection objects with the aim of developing a digitization concept and a digital collection portal.

 

 

Digital exhibition modules

This project works to digitally open up selected exhibition areas in the modernized MEERESMUSEUM and to digitally transform the entire exhibition and outreach work at the Ocean Museum Germany.
